Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 8, 2026
1. The service
Readcture converts uploaded lecture audio, video, or transcript text into study material — expanded "textbook" chapters or condensed "summary" notes — using automated transcription and AI-generated content. By using Readcture, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Readcture, and you must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis via Razorpay. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid-tier access until then. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on charges and refunds.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you don't have the rights or permission to use.
- Upload illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to circumvent usage caps or limits placed on your account or tier.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying software, prompts, or models behind the service.
5. Content ownership
You retain all rights to the audio, video, or text you upload. You also own the study content Readcture generates for you — we don't claim ownership over your chapters, summaries, or questions. The underlying Readcture platform, software, and branding remain our property.
6. Disclaimer
Readcture is a study aid, not a substitute for the original lecture, your course materials, or professional exam guidance. Generated content is produced by automated transcription and AI systems, and may contain errors, omissions, or gaps. We don't guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any generated content, and you should verify important material against the original source.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readcture and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on generated content for exam preparation or academic work.
8. Termination
You may stop using Readcture and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable-use rules above.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you before they take effect. Continued use of Readcture after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
